an easy mount router table for one of their own routers with the incremental raise/lower feature.

they do have one for their own routers for the cms system. i would like a cms module that has a hole in it for an incra etc router lift, also a blank insert for the cms

I also wish the Festool owners group monitors will add a request to keep sexist remarks about women ("Festool Women"? come on this is not jr. high) off this site.  I mean I can appreciate jokes but this is not the place for it.

i have been on here for a year now  [eek] and i dont remember any post that were sexist . you should highlight them to us. we often make funn of people on here , especially the uk guys but it is all fun .
i bet that if you polled our members  there would be a lot more than you would think are women. you wouldnt know by most of their names.

They already make a CMS like Alan said.
CMS Thread!

You call your self WoodWoman  so whats the difference with FestoolWoman.   I just had a quick glance and I can not find this sexist remark your referring to any where.      You have just registered to this site I assume der are other woman on here who have not said anything about this post your talking about.  It was said before you registered I dont see the problem.  Especially the UK memebers make fun of each other a little banter does no one any harm.    You say you can appreciate jokes but not here well where?           I just feel its rude to join a group and start dictating how it should be run straight away why join in the first place?

Sorry for not posting earlier, just got back from work.

To all our female members and visitors:  As a moderator I will try to keep a better eye on comments that might be insulting to our female members AND visitors.  In a sincere effort to help, I would encourage any female members to send me a PM of what types of posts are bother some.  I hope that you will take me up on the offer.

To Members:  It really isn't very welcoming to a new member to question their initial comments and suggestions.  Just because a member joined today doesn't mean that they haven't been a visitor for years.  Many viewers visit and only become members when they have something to post.

a better way to deal with it Peter would have been a PM to a mod IMHO not going  [off topic] with a political [tongue] comment about sexism etc etc blah blah

Dean,  I will agree that would have been another good option, and probably the preferred.  But it is here, I consider it an eye-opener and I hope that we can move forward and my invitation for information will be accepted in the manner in which I offered.

And I certainly could have just sent a PM to the member, but honestly after thinking about the post, maybe we don't have as many female members or posting female members or future female members because of what was written.  In this way the message is out there for all to help educate me / us.

You have many more than that.  Who says that when you sign up you honestly fill out the questions.  In fact, you don't need to fill out that selection at all.  I don't care.  A member is a member.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to move away from the male / female issue and go back to talking about tools?

Peter

I bought a tile saw ( Gemini revolution xt) it's a ring saw designed to cut circles radius' etc. Great idea terribly made. I said from the minute I bought it I wished festool  made a tile saw like this. It would be like a scroll saw to cut tile

so it is ok to talk about jmb  [poke] [poke]

i dont think anything was ment by the "sexist comment" in question. (the festool woman previously mentioned)

the point is another festool adict has joined our ranks. she is more than welcome . i hope she and other potential members arent put off by such comments

On the other hand, when you're new at a place and trying to get friendly, the best thing to do is start complaining right away.

Fine by me. But on the other hand, wouldn't it be nice to find out how this issue actually came about? How can we learn from our mistakes if we don't even know what they are?  ::)

that saw looks handy. does it spin or just ossilate back and forth. i presume there is probably a pattent issue stopping other companies making a better built version. shame thow

I wish Festool made an Invisi-Sys.  That way I could carry my new goodies through the house and not get the reproachful look.  I could be like "nope, nothing in my hands, just passing through" as I head to the workshop to stash the loot  tool.

On a serious note, I wish Festool would design or arrange a drill holster that was designed for the C-series drill body shape.  This is one of the main reasons I use my TDK and my li'l Bosch the most, don't reach for the C12 very often unless I'm IN my shop, and have held off on a CXS.

And a small compressor, designed to fit into a Sys2.  I.e a very flat 1-2 gallon compressor.  Enough for a trim or pin nailer.
Plug-it socket, air coupler and power switch accessible from the outside.  Perhaps a Sys3 option which has some foams to reduce noise.

This has been asked for many times, but if Festool did ever make one, you wouldn't get it.

The reason given for the VacSys not being available stateside is that UL won't allow equipment designed to be operated whilst mounted inside a systainer. If you can't get something that sucks, you won't get something that blows.... [eek]

I haven'nt looked through all eleven pages but i would like to see a cordless rotary sds hammer drill that uses the same batteries as the T15 and/or T18. Also a cordless electric finish nailer similar to the dewalt one. I am phasing out my dewalt cordless tools and looking for replacements.
