Finally finished my Cherry Armoire

Between moving house and getting married, I finally finished a cherry armoire that I started about two years ago.  As my wife has said, "you need to finish your own projects before starting something for someone else."  I have a tendency to do projects for others and never really spend time making something for myself. I had lots of fun building the cabinet but my original intent of storing clothes in the cabinet has given away to storing office supplies and computer equipment.  It is surprising what can be built with a few tools and some free time.

The top and bottom are painted black.  It made for an awesome contrast to the cherry and my wife really liked the idea when I did it.  Thank you for asking.
