Man did it cut smooth! Absolutely no drama.
Not gonna lie, when I first started cutting I was ready to hang on for the ride so to speak.
Less noise and vibration than cutting with the saw blade.
I was only cutting tennons on 3 1/2 pine posts, so hardly a stress test. Still pretty impressed though.
I used it with the FSK 420.
SO much quicker than with a router or a circular saw.

Also the depth conversion chart they put on the cover is 6mm off (when you're on the track).
The chart gives you the depth measurement for the saw and a conversion to what depth the grooving unit will cut at.
According to the chart it's 50mm less for the grooving unit. It's actually 56mm less.
So if the saw says you're cutting at 66mm, you're actually grooving 10mm deep.
And even though all the measurements are in metric, the max cut is exactly 1 inch. 25.4mm. I found that kind of funny.

The only thing I didn't love is the cutter leaves a small angled groove on either side of the cut. Much less than 1mm. Still noticeable though.

Definitely glad I got this.

That's good to hear, I've been waiting for a promotion to get one myself. I could have really used it on a slab of English Oak I've been working on the weekend!

Once I get it I'll be ordering one of the beading heads from Whitehill!

Yeah, those do look nice.
I don't have job for them at the moment, so hard to justify the cost.
They're in the back of my head though.
