Finally - The First of the FogWear

Stay tuned for information about the first FogWear item - a FogBall Cap FogCap.

This will be a one time run limited edition item.  I expect to finalize everything this coming week.  It will be a structured navy blue cap with the logo embroidered in green metallic thread.  Pricing for those in North America will include shipping for your convenience.  For those outside North America, unfortunately additional shipping costs will apply.

For those who were winners in the various Fogtainer contests, you will be receiving one of these as your prize.  You didn't think that I would forget did you?  For those who earned a discount certificate(s) for purchasing the last Fogtainers - your discounts will also apply.

Again, if there is any "profit" left over after this, it will be carried forward to making the next FOG... project happen!

Peter, you put so much time and effort in these things, like with the FOGtainer project, nobody in his right mind would begrudge you a little profit.

At the risk of offending you - I appreciate your post more than you could ever imagine.  [thumbs up]

The left over money from the Fogtainers starts this project.  Actually it pays for the prizes from that project.

I will always be open about my motives and profits.  My friends at Festool USA believed in this whole program and also in me - that means a lot.

That being said, I have several things in the works that might be introduced to members here in the future that will be a for profit situation for me.  They will not be introduced as a FOG item, but they may only be available to FOG members.  I will always clearly differentiate the different situations.  How those are handled by us administratively and with full disclosure will be addressed and handled beforehand.

I hope you are interested in a FogCap.

A FogCap sounds good. I'm on my 3rd festool cap. A question about sizing. Have you considered the size of the caps? The Festool caps are a bit small and tight for my big fat head. Due to the 'smaller' size of the actual dome area of the festool cap they tend to creep up off my head. I've spoken with a few other guys who have the same problem. So I guess I'm asking if you are sizing the cap off of the festool cap or something else.

Do you have the Festool cap that is embroidered www.festoolusa.com on the back?  I will be dealing with that same vendor for all the Fogwear stuff.  If you don't see that, I have an extra unused cap to send you to try out.
