Just wanted to say thanks again for the tips and tricks from the post (linked below).

I am seriously indebted to the FOG, as a new guy trying to make his house a home.

I cut the crown on Thursday and installed Saturday.  Wow the Kapex was a pleasure to work with.  I had to whip out the RO150 to scribe the backside of one of the funky inside corner for proper fitment.  Once it was all installed, i noticed one area that bugged me, so my wife OK'd my purchase of the RO90, and WOW was that a blast to use.  I have a newfound respect for those who do this for a living.  Crown was tricky…but fun for sure.

Still needs to be painted white when the doors arrive.

Thanks again for all your help and support!

Great job and best of all I don't see any need for the carpenter's crutch - Liquid Trim (caulk).

Someone taught you well, Grasshopper!

Keep up the good work.

Thanks Joe.  You helped quite a bit!

I learned most of what I needed right here at the FOG.  It's a fantastic forum.

That crown really looks fabulous!  Now when you get ready to do some more when you will be going up against the ceiling come back and ask more advice.  That way you will get pointers on keeping it straight, working alone, etc.

Great work!

Peter

Thanks Peter.

No doubt when I need to go against the ceiling I'll be back for advice.
