With the help of a friend, we have developed and made a small batch of flip stops for the CSC.

Here's some background.  We have a Festool CSC SYS 50 table saw set up in the shop.  It is working very well...it is extremely easy to use and very accurate.  Since gauging part width on the slider with flip stops (left of the blade) is common practice with larger saws and we thought that the little Festool saw definitely deserves one.

The interchangeable parallel and perpendicular fences are what makes the stop possible. Just swap the parallel fence with the perpendicular, install the stop, and you're set to go. The stop is designed to work with the fence in either orientation. Gauging part length up to 500mm (20") is possible.

We appreciate your comments and feedback!

Will

Good eye!  The answer is yes and no.  The base is the same, but the MFT flag doesn't work at all, so we had to redesign that from scratch.

I'd be interested in two of them when you have info on potentially selling the stops.  Either the full stop or just the flags and I can contact Festool for the carrier, knob, and bolt.

Thanks!

There’s some tweaking of the clamp to get it to work correctly, so to make sure it works as expected we are only going to sell them fully assembled, at least for now.

I’ll check with a friend who is set up for receiving credit card payments and get back to you in a day or two.

I don't have a CSC SYS 50, but I appreciate the ingenuity that went into this.  With tools like Fusion 360 and SendCutSend, we're living in a pretty great time for makers and inventors.

That said, I would be very... careful... about selling/reselling parts that have Festool's logo on them.  I'm not a lawyer, but TSO, Dashboard PWS, and others only sell additive parts or replacement hardware for Festool's hinges, slop-stops, etc. rather than selling Festool parts with custom hardware, and I'm pretty sure it's not just because sourcing the original and tossing the hardware is costly...

I wish you good luck with getting this out there to the masses!

Hi Will do you ship internationally ( France)

Bonjour Xere.  Yes I will, but give me a day to figure out how to make this work.

I was asked why we put holes in the end of the flags.  The holes offer the possibility of quick easy customization at no additional fabrication cost.

Examples include:
Adding a fine adjustment screw
Positive retention of a spacer block
Gauging off the shoulder of a tenoned, rabbeted or notched part.

I received mine today and the stop fits perfectly with prompt shipping by the seller. I’m very happy!

Thanks for making these stops, my order is placed.  Very grateful for easy purchase and for offering international shipping!

Ordered a couple - thanks for making these. I have the BenchDog fence with stops, but since it doesn't fit in the systainer, it's nice to have something that will.

Here's an answer to a question no one asked:  Is there a way to securely fit those flip stops in the systainer that comes with the table saw?  The systainer for the saw is a pretty close fit, but if you attach the flip stops as shown in the picture, the systainer fits just fine.
