Don’t remember the year but obviously before the T-lock version came out.

Peter had them made in all sizes then available, 1-4. I have a 4 that I keep the SYS VAC pump in.

They were called FOGtainers. The original thread gauging interest was locked in July, 2010 when you could order them on a separate thread.

Couldn't tell you the exact colors used. Likely that original thread would indicate the color used if Peter doesn't chime in.

[member=6370]Festool Fishy[/member]  - boy isn't this a blast from the past.

Yes, all the Fogtainers were Sapphire Blue with the Festool green latches and offered in 2010.  Ironically, the color combination had never been done before and that color of latches was not available at the time thru Tanos.  Christian was instrumental in getting permission for me to use that latch as well as make the whole project come together.  Now we often see that type of color combination for special offerings.

Prices back then (excluding shipping):

Fogtainer Sys 1 - $60.00
Fogtainer Sys 2 - $65.00
Fogtainer Sys 3 - $71.00
Fogtainer Sys 4 - $76.00

[member=1674]Peter Halle[/member]    Thanks very much Peter Great job as always  Do you remember how many you ordered in total ??
Happy New Year !!
Fishy

There were 275 ordered by Members.  I ended up with one that has a melted spot on the bottom.

[member=73573]Chris1970[/member] - I certainly don't plan another project like this.  That project helped achieve my goal - which was to create additional community spirit within the FOG thru the collaboration of the Members in order to produce and obtain something unique at a cost reasonable to the common normal systainer at the time.  I also have moved and no longer can stack systainers 12' tall in my living room and my sidekick MacGyver wouldn't be here to supervise.

Sorry.

No apologies needed Peter! Thanks for the insight! Chris

[member=1674]Peter Halle[/member] did a great job putting together FOGtainers project. It must have been a real pain to ship all 275 units out. Plus I remember all the experimenting with printing the FOG logo on the front. I still have two of them. Thanks again Peter for doing the project.
