Why does it take longer to ship to Washington State than to Australia?

Currently there are Fogtainers in customs in the UK, cleared customs in Australia, and meandering around South Africa.  Also in customs in Canada.

Haven't seen any in NH yet though :(

Call your post office or go pick them up.  Is your post office actually Belmont, NH.  They supposedly attempted delivery on the 7th.

Still no sign of mine here in the UK, though TBH I'm half-expecting an invoice from customs to arrive before they'll release them... [crying]

Let's hope the customs officer on duty is feeling lazy....

Jonathan,

Yours arrived yesterday about lunch time and are in customs right now.

I picked up my fogtainers today after I had them drop-shipped to a warehouse just over the US-Canadian border. I figured this was easier for Peter to send them to, and I avoided any extra brokerage or shipping charges.

Wow! What a fantastic job on the packaging. I had the Fogtainers printed and they look great. Almost too good for the workshop, but there were three spaces in the sysport waiting to be filled.

Bit of a comedy moment at the border when the border agent asked me what was in the cardboard boxes that I was bringing back to Canada.

"Containers," I replied.

"Eh? Containers in boxes?"

"Yep. They're special."

Richard,

I don't know if you mis-typed or you didn't realize, but - you have the labels.  If you didn't notice, that is indeed a compliment.

Your story at the border reminded me of my brother who received a defective mouse for his computer.  When the UPS driver picked up the return he looked at the information on the slip which said "dead mouse" and freaked.

Enjoy them buddy!

No freakin' way! I looked at them and could not see an edge so I thought they were printed! Phenomenal print job.

Hey Peter,
Now that you've cleared all or most of the FogTainers from your house...you now will have the space and maybe even the time to make some more furniture to fill the void.
Hopefully!

No way, Peter better keep that space available for the next FOG project, whatever that may be. [big grin]

Brian,

I love you guy!  Right now the absence of Fogtainers is actually scary - can't get used to it.  Three packed boxes in the house.  One lonely #1 naked sitting here.  A self made #3 factory second in the other room.  Where did they all go?

I actually have dreamed for 20 plus years of doing more woodworking as a hobby.  If you walked into my house today and at gun point asked what did I make woodworking in my house other than trim, the answers would be quick.

My first project will be to have to finish the bathroom vanity in the master bath.  It sat in my living room for almost a year unfinished.  Heck, the granite was at the fabricators - paid for - for 15 months.  Nuff said about that.  Next project has to be the aquarium stand out of paduak.  That is started and is in my ......living room.

But first the other approx 100 fogtainers will come back from the printer and then they will sit in my?  You guessed it - living room.

Glad you guys are enjoying your 'lil blue boxes as much as I did while they were here.

Peter

By the way,

Alan M Woodguy- yours cleared customs today and should be on the way.

Peter

I made a mistake with real names and their possible abbreviations and screen names.  I apologize.

Thanks Peter, The quintuplets arrived today. Wonderful job!!!!!!
thanks again
Rick

Thanks Brice, now I'm just waiting for some big jobs to come in so I have a good excuse to upgrade the content of the one FOGtainer to a C15...... [drooling]
