For CT Vacuums: Best floor cleaner?

Found this offer in Australia for AUS$70. I know, not much help for you, but just as a demonstration how cheap it can be. Maybe useful to Kev considering festool sells it for AUS$ 262.

I bought a CTMINI for the house through the recondition sale.  I'm planning on getting that hardwood floor attachment from Miele.

Has anyone bought an Electric brush head for Carpets and used the 'Auto' function on the CT?  One would have to attach a switch for the function.  Seems like a Power Head would work better than the Festool Air driven version for carpets.

BMH,  Yeah, I've seen the industrial nozzle.  I just don't know anything about it.  Hence this thread.  Do you use one?

The Meile really goes right onto a Festool wand?  It looks like it has some kind of proprietary attachment "bumps."  Well, if it works, what diameter wand (or adapter) do I need?

The Meile works great and fits right on. The "bump" permits to lock onto the wand great attachment for wood floors or smooths surfaces.

The festool industrial nozzle is truly a little gem. Discovered it at a Festool class and bought one as soon as I got back. Work great on all type of surfaces and is easy to handle. Wouldn't recommend it for carpet work.

I have the compact cleaning kit.  It works great but I wish the floor nozzle was larger.  Will the large industrial floor nozzle fit on the end of the plastic wand pipes that come with the compact cleaning kit?  If they will I'll buy one.  Or do I need the stainless steel pipe?

The Standard Aluminum Floor Nozzle will accept the 27mm and 36mm hoses and tubes.  The Large Aluminum Industrial Floor Nozzle requires the 50mm tubes, either in Aluminum or Plastic.  

If you are going this route, may I suggest the Industrial Cleaning Set

Hi Ken,

I definetly want the large industrial floor nozzle.  The hose in the indutrial cleaning kit looks a little short to me.  Is there a way to get the large nozzle and necessary wands with a much longer hose?  Thanks for your help!!  When I figure out what I need I'll buy it from you guys!

There are 13' x D50mm hoses available  452 890 AS and 452 889 Non-AS. Or you could use  493 047 Connector Sleeve to put two together.
