Let's talk dogs.  I have two and MacGyver's first nap was in a systainer on a Festool green towel.  We don't have any Rockler stores here so he can't comment on how he feels about them.

Anyone else?

I have 3 dogs, a chocolate lab, a beagle and a Dogue de Bourdauex (French Mastiff).  To hard to take all 3 to the same place.  One of the woodcrafts the owners dog has free reign.

Right now, I have a 5.5-year-old, rescued, German Shepherd with an incredible prey drive and a ferocious bark that lets me know when someone visits unannounced.  That aside, he's a very sweet, loving best friend that just loves to hang out in the shop while I work.

My fiancee and I have four dogs a lab/retriever mix (rescue), yorkie (rescue), pomeranian (rescue), and a papalon. All are great and are a blast to have around the house! Annie the retriever mix loves to hang out with me in the workshop!

Cort D. Terrier- Never been to Rockler but guards the car at Highland Woodworking.

8 year old yellow Lab. 121 lbs from really big English purebred parents!!!

Won't let any strange adult person into our house, if we're are not home. I've had friends drop by to pick up stuff with my permission while I'm not there and it didn't go well (no biting, just a lot of teeth, barking and growling).

But, when he is at the playground and a small child approaches (even babies) he sits down and let's them pet him and loves the attention, will drop his ball at their feet and when they throw the ball, he brings it back to do it all over again. If another dog approaches the child he will get very protective of the child and growl and chase the dog away.

We rescued a two-month old Terrier puppy (now she's five months old). The rest of the family always wanted a dog and I finally gave in on three conditions. One, I didn't have to walk her at 11pm at night, two, I didn't want a big barker, and three, I got to choose the name.

So now I spend more time with her than anyone else- including the late night walks- and she barks from time to time but at least I chose the name- Pepper.

I take her everywhere, have a list of dog-friendly cafes, and on Saturday we happened to be in Home Depot. I carried her around, but the staff were very friendly indeed.

Truth be told I wish I had got a dog a long time ago. They're great additions to the family.
