Festool should make an extended outer splinter guard for shallow cuts on the TS75. If you're breaking down a sheet of 3/4" plywood the blade will not reach the splinter guard.

I agree, seems like such a simple part to make.

I think my TS 75 should come with a auto pilot or a uber model. That way I can sit back drink a pint and let the 75 get busy

Then you should get the Mafell PSS 3100 SE instead.
It moves itself along the rail without any human help.

This thing still amazes me.  I cannot see how there could be that many people who need it to justify its development.

You must not have a problem with pints like they do in the UK.  [embarassed]

I was in a pub outside of Adelaide a month ago, and ordered a pint. The bar lady poured one up, and I said sorry I wanted a pint.
She said that is a pint, then she said you wanted an imperial pint...
I had never heard of a Metric pint... The whole concept was a piss take.

I do not know either, but one cannot say that the torqued the saw to get a bad cut.

If you do a lot a thinner stock, I'd suggest getting the lighter TS55 save your back carting the TS75 around...I've got the HKC 55 and plan on using that, bought the side guide to help with dust extraction..

TS 75 for thicker stock and hardwoods.. TS55 for plywoods..

To be fair that thing has got ultimate bragging rights. If Festool made one I'm sure everyone here would consider it the best thing since sliced bread!!

Pathetic piece of junk .. why does it need a rail if it's self propelled? It should use onboard GPS [big grin]

Right like an Italian sub. Some areas call then subs some call them hero. Although with the spread of chains like Subway I guess sub has become more universal.

Google for lots of pics.

That thing is silly, but the integrated vacuum in the rail thingamabob is pretty cool.
