You might be interested in this motorized mount for your video camera/digital camera and video phone.  It tracks you via a wearable or handheld sensor so you can better show off tool reviews and projects you build.  It's not that expensive.

Oh great, now I'm going to have a camera following me around. [tongue]  Seems like an interesting idea, nice find Ken.

Nice!

Nice feature would be if it works with a tripod!  Saves having it on a table or wall or on the floor

JMB

JMB, they do say it has a tripod mount, but that's for attaching to a camera's tripod mount.  You could contact the company and request that since they are still developing models.

YEah when I read and it says tripod mount!  it confused me cus I thought meant it actually mounts onto a tripod but then reading and watchin videos  they mean it has a tripod mount attachment for mounting cameras onto the device its self.

Which is a miss leading and they should reword it some how

JMB

My concern is that it doesn't look like it moves very smoothly.  Could be we didn't get to see it doing a long pan.

I agree with JMB (jezuz this wine must be strong...) that the wording is misleading about the tripod mount. To me that means it mounts to a tripod not that it accepts tripod mounts.  Fortunately you just need a 1/4"-20 nut epoxied to the bottom of a board to mount it to a tripod then some double-sided carpet tape to stick the Swivl to the board.  All fixed.

Other problem for me is the whole "line of sight" with the remote.  Guess it is at least green...

What I find interesting is they are filming the camera mount with other cameras.. [eek]. It would say a lot more about the product if they used it make the kind of video they say it is made to make.  ???

Paul what wine you drinking... have a client that I could use a the right wine when talking to them.... [bite tongue]

Cheers,
Steve
