Four Piece Entertainment Center and Bookcases

Thanks, Patrick.  I'm glad you found something useful in my wordy writeup.  If you have any questions, fire away, and I'll try to answer them.

I went to the recent Woodworking Show in Columbus, OH hoping to find at least one veneer dealer there, and to choose some for use in making the doors my wife wants to hide the TV.  But there were no dealers selling veneer stocks as in the recent past shows.  I'm hesitant to purchase over the internet because I'll probably make a wrong choice based on the photos and data vendors often post.  Woodwerks store in Columbus did not have much veneer stocks either, nothing that grabbed my attention as suitable.  So my wife is going to have to wait for those doors. ;D

Dave-

I just wanted to add my thanks to your fabulous exposition.

My wife likes the look and "we" will be starting ours soon (just a few things on the list before it). Ours will be out of cherry (and probably some accenting woods).

I like all the photos that you shared, and I must understand the practicality of rearranging the shelves to fit whats going on them
