This has been something I have wanted to do a long time, but ended as a too down prioritised project. Finally it’s up and running. Still a work in progress project, as I always seems to like to add and improve so there’s only a dab of glue here  [big grin]

All hardware and parts are a hack from a bicycle carrier meant to sit on a car roof.
The bicycle rack cost me $45, wood are scrap pieces. All in all a solution that works for very little money. The goal was to make it fit a freestanding MFT, mountable and slidable to any direction to any side of a MFT or VL table.

Brilliant!

Almost makes me wish I hadn't taken my old roof bike rack to the scrap yard last year; it was from a car I hadn't owned for almost 20 years and that hadn't been manufactured for almost that same length of time, so it was getting harder and harder to justify keeping it.
