If you haven't scrolled to the end yet, don't. See how many images it takes to figure out what this is. It is made of Cypress and was a Valentine's surprise (well, one of them, anyway) for LOML. I used glued and sliding dovetails, dominoes, and frame and panel consruction.

Voilla!!!!

You may notice the large panels making up the front and bottom have side pieces that were registered with dominoes for maching dovetails for the side panels and for finish sanding. They were not glued until several ribs were slid in for strength and to keep the panels flat. This also hid the ends of the DTs. The front and bottom are attached with ine long DT and were glued along its length as the grain is parallel. The ribs were cross grain and left unglued. The axle blocks are DTed to the bottom, the sides were DTed as well, again before the side details were attached. The Frame and panel sides have double dominoes at each joint as does the handle, which was trapped in assembly when the second side was put in place. Glue up was TENSE.  ::)

The looks to be very well built Greg.  I had no idea what it was until I looked at the final picture.

Frank,
I can squat inside and bounce a bit with no creaks or groans. I wondered if I should have been using white oak but there are several ribs across the bottom to add strength. Jackie loves how light weight it is and how easy it is to roll around. While it should be able to take some weather (i used Titebond III) I suspect it won't be outside much except when it is being used.
