With all the pretty MFTs and other builds people post, I figured it's time to balance the universe a bit with the ugly, but surprisingly useful (at least for flooring/finish trim) mini MFT slabs on a Dewalt mitre stand.

I've got two of the supports with rail anti-slip strips attached.  The MDF slabs have some as well and it makes it all really stable even without fasteners.

Looks like it works. How are the extremely cantilevered ends supported?

I have an MFT 800 mdf top attached to a pair of those brackets which is very handy in some circumstances. Even without using the stand. I can set it on top of a cluttered bench (just clearing space for the brackets) and then cut, clamp, route, whatever.
 
Ah, they're not supported.  There is a tiny bit of sag if too much weight is applied but so far hasn't been an issue.
