I have enjoyed being a part of the FOG and proponent of Festool over the past several years as an employee of McFeely's.  I am very excited to make an announcement that I will continue to be a part of your community -- I'M GOING GREEN!  ;D  I have accepted a position with Festool USA and will be relocating to their new headquarters in Indiana.  I look forward to having the opportunity to work closely with the dealer network and end user community to continue to support and grow the brand.

I encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas about how Festool can better serve its end user community through the web and help supplement the great resource found here at the FOG.

Also, I would like to take the opportunity to say goodbye to my dear friend Darin Lawrence.  His passion and knowledge have been much of the reason for McFeely's success over the years with Festool.  I have truly enjoyed working along side you and will miss our friendship.  I wish you well and hope we cross paths again!  I have no doubts that you will find a good place to put all that expertise to good use.

Shane,

You certainly got my attention with the byline "aka the Systainer decal guy". Can you explain more?

Mike,

Many of the users on the FOG know me as the guy who provided free personalized systainer decals as a promotion while I was an employee of McFeely's.  As far as I know, that program will continue from Lab Safety Supply.  See the following link for more information:http://www.mcfeelys.com/festool/systainerdecals.aspx

So, will you be driving a hybrid to work?  Or, is this just a hat and tee shirt kind of thing?

Shane,
Congratulations to you, and to Festool for bringing you on board!  You have been a valuable contributor to this forum as a Festool Dealer.  I'm sure I speak for others when I say that I look forward to having you be a connection to the company for our members.

As of this morning, your official forum title has changed to "Festool Employee."

Please let us know how things are going at Festool -- new location and new products.  And always let us know how the forum can be a resource for you.

Again, congratulations.

Stay in touch,
Matthew

Congratulations on your new job!  It sounds like you will have a lot to take care of at Festool.  So it seems it would be for the best to hire someone to assist you (hint, hint).
Tom.

Shane,

Congrats on going over to the "Green Side".  Best of luck in your new position.

OK...  When can we expect official Festool decals directly from Festool?!?  ;D

Regards,

Dan.
