Was in the uk last week and picked up a few accessories that are not available in the US.

The syslite is amazing with the amount of light it produces but not sure if i will ever use it - but it was really cool so had to pick it up :). also did not realize that the power adapter was 110 -220 till i opened the pkg back home.

The router bit package looks like a useful set; some packs are half useful half not.  I thought everybody had the ratchet set...  [tongue]  Nice haul (and nice bit of luck with the light's power!)

All of those items will be introduced in the US/Canada tomorrow.

... Just kidding.  [poke] The SysLite does rock. You have to see it in person to appreciate how bright it is.

dont think i can stand a second shock - first being when i saw my cc charge when i got back home :) . apparently the dollar to pound conversion is still tilted towards the pound :)

Did you buy your new kit from Warren at Toolfest?
Its only that i saw all of those things three weeks ago when i went in.

Holy fantastic packaging on that router bit setup.

I purchased them from Toucan tools - very good service.

Sean: yes the packing is really nice.

Sure wish the dealer I went to in Munich had had that router bit set. I would have picked that up as well. I looked at the mini-sys socket set but all of those parts are already in the centrotec set I have. Hate to rub it in but that Sys-lite is really nice. I'm using mine pretty much everyday.

Glad to see you took me up on the Toucan Tools recommendation- friendly and knowledgeable about Festool aren't they?

All the router bits are 8mm I believe. It's a nice starter set, and pretty good value too.

Yes, thank you. My alternate plan was to go to Axminster in Nuneaton but could not make it. But the folks in Toucan tools were really knowledgeable and friendly.

I am on the hunt for 8mm router bits. I am itching to get a MFK700.

[big grin]Any chance you want to see your router bits?.. I would hate to see you get in trouble with the UL police.. and don't worry about owing me one.. that is what friends are for.
