Love the long screw driver bits. The selection of the drivers and extension is great. Now to wait for some additional funds and get the new c15 drill. That is next.

Great looking set!  I've got to snag a T15 before I can start lusting over this.

I am curious to know if anyone who may have purchased a previous edition of the centrotec assortment didn't feel as if it was worth it?

If my memory is correct, it was 5 years ago (at least in NA).

It was 2007 or 2008. It's been since I came on board with Festool.

I have the 2007 set.  That and the C12 were my first purchase.  I still haven't used a lot of the metric drill bits in that set.  Was it worth it?  I'm still undecided.  Would I get the 2011 set?  I think so.

This Centrotec Set was the direct result of feedback from the members of this forum and proof that we are listening and reacting.

Can someone who has purchased the set comment on the quality of the driver bits?  Those that came with my T-15 weren't so great--the Phillips drivers cam out pretty easily.  IIRC, others commented on this as well and suggested Wera and other brands of bits.  I'm intrigued by the set but hesitant based on my earlier experience.

Thanks in advance,
Phred

I got an email from my supplier, and mine should be delivered Monday.  Can't wait!!!
It'll go with my T15 and CXS.

I still have all of the original bits.  Only the long gold colored bits in my 2007 set show any wear.  The normal driver bits hold up as well as my best American made bits from Vermont American.

Hmmmm, how about some square bits and some more discounts [poke]

[dead horse] Square drive guys. [poke]

Can't believe there is no T10 driver.  That is the size for trim head screws.

I ordered some t10 bits to go with my centrotec set as well as replacement pilot bits for the countersink bit.

Square drives would be cool but I just use the mcfeeleys square bits as I use their screws mainly.

I also picked up my set today and it was well worth the wait.  I highly recommend it as well as the Zobo bits.

Square drive bits? What are those? I never read anyone asking for those!  [poke]

(Kidding, for those who have known me for a while, I used to work at McFeelys)

It's not that we're ignoring the request, it's that Festool is a German/European company and square drive just doesn't exist there. Christian even posted about the matter not too long ago.
