I hate to say this but that linked page is useless as it doesn't identify if the lids are 125 or 200 micron but does list a 3M part number.

Go to:http://3mcollision.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=pps+lids to find out which lid the part number is for.  For instance the #16114 and 16024 are both 200 micron lids.

When it comes to lids, liners and caps.  Check the part number at 3M to find out what it should and the piece count too.  I have seen one site show a item as 3M #16114 which is supposed to be a 50 lids/liner, 20 caps but instead cut that in half.  What that amounted to was either $2.20 for a lid/liner or $147 for a lid/liner.

Ah, yes, I forgot about the eBay store but again this one doesn't mention the filter:http://www.ebay.com/itm/3M-PPS-Pain...14-50-Pack-/262396730004?hash=item3d18105a94.  On some lids it does mention the filter micron size.

If your at eBay and happen to search for the same item, unless price is of no concern, you'll purchase from Homestead.

I use this hose. Light weight and durable. I've stepped on it a few times and it supported my weight without deforming. I feel the thin wall helps with cooling the air stream.

Got the that hose a short time ago jam packed into a USPS box, came out like a Jack in the Box, snaking all over the table!  Despite what the picture shows and nothing in the description.  It's super bright yellow and I wasn't expecting that!

I'd say that it's for sure lighter than the supplied Fuji 25' but heavier per foot than a Fuji leader as its plastic coils are heavier.  A garden hose size quick disconnect is attached which at first I thought was a one piece fitting so the somewhat lighter Fuji leaders still can be used.

The pictured hose has about 250 gallons of use.

That hose was used when I sprayed the stain on the arm rests I posted (somewhere on here).

SW ProClassic sprays so well with my Fuji XPC guns, I'm sure you'll have great success. SW PC is thinner than many paints, I just add 2oz of Floetrol per quart, #4 XPC tip which is a 1.4mm and it's quite effortless. Doing some cabinets right now for a queen size murphy bed full wall with lower cabinet/upper shelves both sides. I don't bother with any air flow control when shooting acrylic latex, the fan size and paint output dialed in are enough to get it right.

I thought that one adjusts fan, paint output first and cut air flow to the point where it doesn't affect the finish quality.

I've also gotten in the habit of using smooth brown paper bags cut into hand sized pieces and rub after each coat prior to last coat. ProClassic dries in an hour to rub with no issues. The smaller size bags from hardware stores seem to be the best. I always keep things like that around, you never know what good purpose they can serve.

I use a box fan and a 20" filter for overspray control. Nothing fancy but can be placed where needed. My wood shop unfortunately is my spray area. I just vacuum and staple up plastic everywhere to make a spray booth.

Paper bags from hardware stores??  Haven't seen a hardware store that uses paper bags in twenty years.

I was going by a article at Roger Phelps website.

We have many excellent Ace and True Value hardware stores in town which are competitive with the big box stores and far more enjoyable to frequent. They all use paper bags for small sales. Walker Lumber is near me, an excellent contractor steered business for hardware and lumber. They don't have the hours of HD also near by, but much more pleasant and knowledgeable.

No True Value close by I do have a ACE Hardware where I do shop.  I might be wrong about them "not" using paper bags.  Isn't there a ban on plastic bags someplace?

I do have a place called Metrics Unlimited who do use paper bags.  Should be gold lined because of the price they charge for a couple of metric bolts and/or nuts!

Below is the video I sent Fuji when I had the issues. They had never heard or seen this problem. Seeing as the new ownership had just taken over, they called Rodger. It was Rodger who explained the change and told them you could not interchange the sets (as told to me by Fuji).

One of the things I had a major problem with is I spoke to Roger on the phone when I lost the nozzle (about 6 weeks before I contacted Fuji and ordered a second incorrect set). He's the one I purchased my system from. He told me he would look up my system. This info told him which generation gun I had and still sent me the wrong parts. If he would have called me and told me the sets would not interchange I would have just order a new gun off of him. Instead he lost a customer.

When I watched this video some weeks ago and you mention the nozzle wrench size or you needed a 3/8" wrench instead of a 7/16".  I though my Gxpc which I assume is the latest generation needed a 10mm wrench.  It's been a while since I sprayed anything so I thought that I was wrong.

Today I did a little job, I was correct, 3/8" wrench is way too small, a 10mm fits, I check my other Gxpc which had a different set and  both are 10mm.  Unless those sets you have are for something else entirely not even a Gxpc?

Mine look exactly like that, its threads don't go all the way to the shoulder, it's a skirted style hex but it's 10mm not 3/8".  Also my air caps don't seat on the gun's body so there is a gap too.  I assume that the your nozzle isn't sealing because if their thread seat area is different but a small "O" ring just might solve the problem.

Guns work just fine as long as I don't cross install the nozzles. First gen with first gen, second gen with second gen, guns work just fine. That's why they're in they're own mini Sys's.

You state that you lost a nozzle so you never found the correct replacement for your first gen Gxpc?

Are the nozzles for your second gen Gxpc 3/8" as well?  It's only .018" difference between 10mm and 3/8" so are you sure your wrench isn't sprung open a bit?  I've got wrenches that I used for 35+ years as a mechanic and I'll bet some are sprung!  I have a 5/16" combo wrench that's actually bent slightly.

Do the air caps for your second gen Gxpc seat flush against the gun's body and what's the size of its nozzles?

As you can see, still most confused here!  ;D
