I went to SW a couple weeks ago and talked to the manager about pricing on the Graco GX-19 and the Titan ED655. He said he sells way more Gracos and he would sell me one for $800. I wouldn't recommend the Titan is what ha said. I'm slowly painting the interior of my house, room by room, and will mainly be spraying trim, baseboards, and the 6 panel doors. My house was built in 2008 and all paint in the house is either SW A-100 latex flat (walls) and semigloss for the doors and baseboards. If I feel I'm competent with the results of the GX-19, I'll attempt to paint some cabinets in the bathrooms. Each room can be sealed off easily while I spray, so I'm not worried about the over-spray leaving the room. I have an unfinished basement where I could set up (rig) up a paint booth if needed. I borrowed a friends Graco handheld sprayer in the past and had good results on some interior doors, but wanted something a little better. Thought about a 4 stage Fuji HVLP (had it in my cart several times) but just too hesitant about the trial and error chemistry of it all. I've read the reviews on the Gx-19 but there doesn't seem to be that many comments on the set-up or videos of people actually using it. I'm thinking about using the GX-19 and a FFLP 310 for the doors and baseboards? SW Emerald or BM Advance or PPG Breakthrough? Just trying to keep it simple (I've been reading painting forums for a month and know it's far from that!). Any help would greatly appreciated. Thanks.
