I went to SW a couple weeks ago and talked to the manager about pricing on the Graco GX-19 and the Titan ED655. He said he sells way more Gracos and he would sell me one for $800. I wouldn't recommend the Titan is what ha said. I'm slowly painting the interior of my house, room by room, and will mainly be spraying trim, baseboards, and the 6 panel doors. My house was built in 2008 and all paint in the house is either SW A-100 latex flat (walls) and semigloss for the doors and baseboards. If I feel I'm competent with the results of the GX-19, I'll attempt to paint some cabinets in the bathrooms.  Each room can be sealed off easily while I spray, so I'm not worried about the over-spray leaving the room. I have an unfinished basement where I could set up (rig) up a paint booth if needed.  I borrowed a friends Graco handheld sprayer in the past and had good results on some interior doors, but wanted something a little better. Thought about a 4 stage Fuji HVLP (had it in my cart several times) but just too hesitant about the trial and error chemistry of it all. I've read the reviews on the Gx-19 but there doesn't seem to be that many comments on the set-up or videos of people actually using it.  I'm thinking about using the GX-19 and a FFLP 310 for the doors and baseboards? SW Emerald or BM Advance or PPG Breakthrough? Just trying to keep it simple (I've been reading painting forums for a month and know it's far from that!). Any help would greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have and use the GX-19 for  spraying primer, passage way doors, cabinet components and have shot BM Advance and SW equivalent with it. It does do a good job. I am happy with it. [member=24938]JCLP[/member] has used it extensively to spray PPG Breakthrough. It is a good little machine for spraying a gallon or two at a time, and is capable of spraying cabinet doors. I have used the Graco 310 and 210 with it and had good results. While I have not used them, I am told the Tritech tips give a much better finish.
It is a small machine and the recycle time or spread between optimal pressure and when the machine cycles up again is a bit of a problem when spraying long runs such as base boards but you can work around this.
Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Tom, thanks for Scott's info.

Tim, glad to hear it's good for what I need to spray with it. I'll pick up the Graco FFLP 310 and 210 when I order the GX-19 from SW this week.

Thanks for quick replies.

I am not sure of the price difference, but if i was to buy again I would get the GX21. The bucket on the GX19 is a bit of a pain, the 21 has a direct immersion design which is a bit more convenient, otherwise the GX19 is good machine for your purposes.

I don't believe the GX21 is available in Canada and probably the US as well. Could be wrong.

I'll inquire about the GX21 at SW. I have found some videos and reviews on the Graco GXFF. I believe it's sold in Europe. Looks to be similar to the GX-19.

Can anyone who has used the unit advise if the GX-19 will spray unthinned latex? I understand that it lacks the pressure to atomize thick coatings on a regular basis, but am I unrealistic to think that I can spray a room once in a while?

The spec states 3000 psi max. It should work for most latex coating with the proper tip.

You can spray unthinned latex no problem. It would take a while to spray a room, as the hopper doesn't hold that much and you would be stopping and filling it up often but it could be done otherwise. Back rolling is a good idea unless you want a smooth finish.
