So, I was out to dinner last night with the guys from the training class and this came up in conversation. It's a great little cleaning set and a steal at $11. Just wanted to share it with the group since I think it got overlooked when it was introduced the same time as the CT 26/36. These fit right on the end of the hose.

For an overview of other accessories for the CT's, check out our website.

Product No. 492 392.

The perfect cleaning accessory set for use with vacuums and dust extractors. Includes one (1) general crevice nozzle, one (1) upholstery brush and one (1) round brush. Made from plastic, these accessories are design to prevent accidental damage to surfaces when dropped, such as hardwood floors.

Completely overlooked, great price. This set will work great for those of us who have already bought the full set but need to replace the nozzle ends. I haven't lost any yet but they are getting a bit chopped up. I use the crevice and wide nozzles up against other tools like the grinder and non Festool saws for DC. Sometimes the nozzles get a little too close to the blades.

One of our best sellers.  I think Festool overlooked it when pricing it!

The round brush is one of my favorites.

If the price goes up now we're going to swap out the horse for Sean. [dead horse] [tongue]

Hahahha, good point.  My apologies.

I'll buy up all the old stock before the price does go up if it in fact does happen.

Hey Shane,
Happy New Year!
I followed your link to the "overview of other accessories for the CT's" and saw the WCR 1000 Workcenter listed as well. Are they available in the US yet? Pretty Please!

Sadly, they aren't available yet.  I can't wait, I really want one.

Festool Workcenter WCR 1000

We all know you don't need the mask with these sanders and CT's.  :)

The Workcenter WCR 1000 will be available roughly around March in the US/Canada. I don't think there will be a firm launch date like we have with tools. We'll just start shipping them to dealers as soon as we get them from Germany.

Do the brushes fit both the 27mm and 36mm hoses?  I forget if they have the same size end.

Alright, I bought one of those little cleaning sets. 11.00 inc shipping, what the heck.

Adam, as with most of our dust extractor fittings, the 27mm hose connects on the inside of the nozzles and the 36mm fits on the outside. So both hose diameters will work with them.

Edit: Just a note. In the image that we have, the round brush looks far bigger in diameter than the other two nozzles. Not sure why that's the case, they all share the same diameter fitting.

ok, I couldn't remember if that was the case for the 27/36 or only between those and the 50mm.

Liked Alex, i use mine all the time.  I have the tradesman cleaning set but sometimes dont take it with me.  This little set is always with me.

Any adaptors available from Festool or others to fit  a Rigid 2 -1/8 ID , 2-1/4 OD. I have the CT dust collector, but sometimes like cleaning the car on the driveway or other uses the Rigid shopvac is more appropriate.

I got these when I bought the Tradesman/Installer Cleaning Set and use them all the time, would definitely recommend them if you don't have them already.

Shane,

I'm glad you pointed out that those items are sold as a kit.  I was going to buy them individually and obviously would have paid a lot more.  It's a really good value.

I noticed in the video Brice posted that Festool has an in-line (long board) sander HSK 80 x 400.  I would have loved that tool when I did autobody work.  Is that ever coming to the US?  Do you guys have one at the training center?  I know it wouldn't be popular on this site because it's not a woodworking tool, but if you guys are marketing the sanders and CT's to the autobody field here, I'm sure that would be a big hit.

Ken, there are no immediate plans to offer it. However, as we expand into the automotive industry in the US/Canada, I expect we'll see more of the tools and accessories that support that industry added to our offerings.

Okay these could not have just come out with the MFT/3.

I just found these 3 items in a drawer! Did I actually buy them separately? Who knows.

Oh wait a minute, the MFT/3 has been out quite awhile now, dam my memory is getting bad.  :)
