Last month, I got that great deal on a CT-ASA boom arm and the seller threw in the old CT22 with it. Took it home, cleaned it up and it works well. But you know those old CTs...

I hadn't really thought much about it but in addition to the CT-ASA Boom, I had it loaded up with a TS55, RO90, SYS MFT and a TopRock. Was moving it (rather gently) when Catastrophe! The right rear wheel sheared off. I was a bit ill because of it, so I haven't inspected the damage to the tub but the wheel looks like it slots into a channel. Perhaps it's salvageable but I'll take a closer look tomorrow.

That old plastic just gets brittle. I'm hoping to get some use out of it before it's too late!

That stinks. So the great deal was really a disguise and it was actually just a good deal?
Maybe you can go to Frarber Hate and get a mover's dolly and figure out a way to attach the CT to that.
OT One H it is interesting to have a challenge like figuring out how to fix the thing.
And OT Other H - who needs more stuff to fix.

This is a good reminder though to those of us that have CT 22's to lighten the load on these old gals by keeping the number of Systainers attached to a minimum and to be careful when traversing rough surfaces.

Easy does it. 🍀

Rough surfaces - true. But also bear in mind that, in this particular case, I was pulling the CT22 about two feet backwards to get it out of the way when the wheel popped off. So, tread gently with your old CTs!
