Guess the movie "quote"

If you were born in the early 1950s, this will be a slam dunk.  Otherwise, I am not sure:

What we have here is a failure to communicate.

Another very commonly quoted one in the same vein, also from a movie:

"What we have here, is a clear lack of respect for the law!"

This is an old movie now, but not nearly as old as Cool Hand Luke.

"get busy living or get busy dying".  Should be an easy one.

The Shawshank Redemption. Easily in my top #3 movies of all time. OK - here's mine;

"Dere's all dis dough, see? All dis dough. Three hundred and fifty g's. It's in a box. Buried in Santa Rosita Big State Park under a big 'W'. You hear what I'm saying? A 'W'. A great big dubbleya.Three hundred and fifty g's. You can't miss it. I'm givin' it to ya, you hear? All you have to do is drive down there and dig it up, then fix yourselves all up. But watch out for the bulls. Bulls are everywhere"

Another great movie.  It's a Mad Mad Mad World!  "He kicked the bucket!"

It was Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.

Of course, in the new Kelvin Timeline movies, we get to actually SEE Kirk growing up in Iowa.  Although I have yet to see the massive mining pits down in Riverside that the movie portrayed...

It's also a line I wouldn't mind being able to say some time; I love space, and would love to get at least into orbit, if not to the moon some day.  Okay, maybe I wouldn't want to work up there...

We seem to have skipped Buford T. Justice up there, though...

Here's my quote, as it were:

Actor 1 : There's one case, one case in a career where you go all in. This is it.
Actor 2 : All right. Then you do us proud. 'Cause I don't want no scrubs.
Actor 3 : Really?
Actor 2 : No.
Actor 3 : You're not aware that's a TLC song?
Actor 2 : I have no idea what you're talking about.
Actor 3 : It's the second time.
Actor 1 : You said chasing waterfalls, now you're saying you don't want no scrubs.
Actor 2 : I don't even understand the reference.
Actor 3 : It's like a tic.
Actor 2 : I have no idea what you're talking about.

squall_line got it. That line was from Smokey and the Bandit.

How about another.

Could be worse, could be raining then of course thunder rumbles and it does

The answer is 42.

"But what's the question?"

"You didn't ask me that."

One of the best book-to-movie adaptations I've seen in a long time.  I love that movie!

"Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"
