Does anyone have easy way of mounting a large woodpeckers or incra square to a guide rail without having to be a machinist? I'm mew to fog and just wanted to say thanks for all the members advice..its been great.also bought some aftermarket acces. that I discovered here!

welcome to the fog.
i mounted a large folding  square to my rail using rmws brackets.
works great

Just thought it would be faster and more accurate.I sometimes check guiderail alignment with square before cut..this generally is in the field without mft

RMW is a member with great ideas and has posted often in the " Festool Jigs and Accessories " section
If you look through there you will see entries " Started by " RMW. These make great reading and the finished products are very nice indeed, great guy to deal with
Good luck
Peter

Depends how accurate a square you need. In the field cutting, the dewalt T Square which fits the festool tracks fine is my solution. It is small though, so not super accurate, but it is durable and I don't worry about it getting knocked about.

The brackets Alan and Peter so kindly referred to (thanks guys!) are left over from another project:

There is an old thread about adapting them to a 1/4" thick square here:

I recently purchased the big Woodpecker square and when I have time (and can force myself to drill into the beautiful red finish...) I plan to drill/tap it to add the little studs to it.
