Seriously, I would need a jig to make the jig!

Bob

I'm sure you could use the LR32 system.  :)

Or you could glue blocks of the correct dimension to a plain edge using appropriate sized spacer simples...

It is very easy to build this jig. Its similar to making fingerjoints.

1. All you need is a 5/8 inch straight bit and a 5/8 inch guide bush that fits pefect into the groove of this bit (without any play!).

2. Now you have to fix a board to your router table miter gauge and rout a 5/8 inch high and wide slot.

3. Than make a short wooden stick which fits perfect into this slot (Hight should be little bit less tan 5/8) and stick it into the slot letting about 15-20 mm comes out of the front.

4. Next adjust the board so, that the distance between beginning router bit and beginning slot is perfect 32 mm

5. Start routing the first slot into a 9 mm thick plywood (1250 mm long and 200 mm wide)

6. Than put this slot on to the stick and rout the next slot and so on ...

7. Make this on both long edges of the plywood and thats it.

You see it's really easy and pretty similar to fingerjoints. In my seminars I tell the students (when they saw it for the first time) that this a perfect comb for dreadlocks ...

Hope you enjoy it and best regards

Guido

Guido, are you gonna be at the class in Norwalk, CT Aug 25th? Eric

Hi Eric,

for me it is an honour that there will be classes in the US teaching how to build the "chaos wall". But sorry the distance between the US and Germany .... but I hope you all will enjoy the seminar - unbeatable for that price!.

Best regards to all of them!

Guido
