It turned out to be a good use of the TS75, getting it straight and about half the thickness.
The FS3000 rail and quite a bit of shimming made it pretty easy. The cuts were slightly misaligned after cutting from both sides of such a rough piece, so some router rails and more shims flattened it, probably better than the wall where it's going to be mounted. The rails also worked with the OF1400 to hollow a huge pocket in the back of it, for the mounting bracket.
There was a bit of carnage though. One the very last pass, to get to a total depth of 2 1/4", I hit a cut nail. It took out on of the inserts of the Amana RC-2400.

Thanks for sharing this.  Your pictures frequently help me work out how to do something.  [big grin]

Have a great Christmas,
Regards
Bob

You're welcome, though I think I learn as much as I help others. I guess that's why we're all here.
I especially like reading about how our European members address things, but I have gotten a lot from other American members too.  We all seem to do things in different ways.
