Has anyone broke a carvex?

The reason I ask is I've broken mine for the second time and I also broke a PSB 400 before that. Each time the motor runs but the blade doesn't go up and down. If it's not a common problem then I must be doing something wrong. Admittedly I'm not a gentle type  ::)

It's probably grandmas fault.

I cut all sorts of timber. I think it may be caused by cutting through floors and carrying on right through the joist. My old Bosch managed that.

Are you using the Trion blades by chance? Those are slightly too thick for the Carvex.

I got a job picking broccoli at that time most of the people doing it were Dundonian women that they bussed over. Now they were rough. I learned some new words from them. The thing is now I'm married to a Fintry lass.
