Has anyone ever tried to make a systainer

I have been a DIYer since growing up on the farm. I try not to buy anything I can make if it's as good as what I can buy. I know you get a systainer with every Festool but for other tools and supplies it would be good to make them. The tricky part is the t lock.

Thanks Garry, I thought I had read all the interesting posts, apparently not.  So,  there was a lot of interest in this project, did anyone ever follow thru and make some?  Pics?  Thanks  John

The third sdystainer that I made has a more conventional top.

You can even order plans to make your own wooden systainers.  Just look at the earlier posts in the same thread.
