I love systainers.  I have switched my entire van over to them. But the other day I went to my local fastenal, they have those metal boxes that can be in racks or be removed for a job.  And there very well priced.  Anyone use them at all

If so, then they work okay.  I just bought a 12 drawer sortainer.  This system used to hold my screws.  Big it's too big for me and my needs.  The sortainer

fits my  needs a lot better.  I had 5 of them, gave 3 away and kept two.  But for a work van, they might work better for you.  I guess it depends

on what you need to store in them.  I was able to put every thing from the 4 drawers pictured above into a 12 drawer sortainer!    [cool]

I use one of the metal boxes for an assortment of my finish nails, drywall screws and other general use fasteners that I want to carry a good bit of them. It is great for use on a rough construction site, I have had all kinds of things drop on it with no issues.

I have a sortainer that I have smaller quantities of finish and pocket screws that only comes out when doing finish work.

I plan on buying 8 of them. Having 2 of the 4 stacks in my van on a shelf.  They will hold all my fillers, trim screws, numerous different nails, flooring tools, etc.  Right now my sprinter is loaded with 21 systainers, they will all stay, but there are so many tools, and other smalls, that are just in the metal bins. These fastenal boxes will come in handy.  I would love to keep loading up on systainers. However, these fastenal boxes only cost 20-26 dollars in store.  That's great value

ive had two of the Klein brand for 15yrs,four drawer, they make a six, have to say they are durable and work really well, till you stuff it to the top of the compartments.one thing that I found necessary is the locking bar, even without a pad lock
