Has festool (festo) ever made a lathe

Been around the museum in HQ a few times but never seen a lathe - plenty of moulders though along with a great trenching machine for strings.

I have a Festo chain mortiser, louver groover (2) and a couple stock feeders.

currently getting rid of mortiser and louver groovers.

These computer controlled CNC, mill and lathe stations are for manufacturing rather than timber related industries.

The Roadshow is coming to my local dealer this weekend. I was chatting with in in store expert about just that question. We agreed that even if they existed a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away they would not come back because a lathe violates the principle of bringing the tool to the piece rather than the piece to the tool.  [wink]
