Has the MFS Router Template System been discontinued?

In the 2015 catalog the MFS System was listed with the routers, in the 2016 catalog they're nada.
 
I am moving the to the Ask FESTOOL area.

Yes, it has been officially discontinued effective 4/1. No joke.

Along with Brilliant abrasives. And, 15v cordless, which was already mentioned here.

What a shame (not Shane)!  But I suppose that it would be logical based on what relatively few posts (and thus I assume popularity) here in the US.

For those who have been on the fence post, this should be a wake up call.  Used it in classes and found it to be an accessory that you did need to spend some time with to get your head around, but offering more than just a few extrusions screwed together.

What does disconnected actually mean? I use the system are spare parts only going to be available for a while ? Also the Mfs is incorporated into the worktop jig is that also disconnected?
 
Glad I loaded up a few years ago!  They are great for swinging arcs and other chores no other accessory will do.  No need to store multiple single-purpose jigs, just a notebook with settings for perfect repeatability later.

Depends on if we still have stock once Festool changes its status to an item that can be sold below catalog prices, usually 90 days or so.
 
Shane, will the profiles continue to be sold (700-1000) or is it all going to be discontinued?  I already have a 400 set.  Eventually I want to add a pair of longer profiles when the need arises (which hasn't happened yet).
