Has the MFS Router Template System been discontinued?

Both shown as 'backordered'. With these being discontinued in NA, will he be able to get more stock from Festool?

Wow...thanks for the heads-up. I think they were available as of Saturday. Things happen fast...
 
I think it's slow going with the MFS system so they are taken a little by surprise by the intense interest for the system now. I've been waiting on my back ordered MFS 400 x2 and MFS 700 VB extension since early July. Just took delivery of my MFS VB 1000 extensions today. I am informed the back ordered items will ship in late September. I'm surprised at the heft of the 1000 extensions and they arrived in pristine condition.. I think this is going to be a beautiful relationship..
 
Yeah -- I'm still waiting on the 2000mm extensions I ordered up from England earlier in the summer.

Thinking the system through, I may just order 2000 extensions as well. 
 
Sorry to resurrect an old thread. Anyone know if it's possible/aceptable to order the MFS400 from the UK to to ship to the US?  Anyone ever done this?  I plan on getting an OF1400 in May and really wanted to get the MFS to go with it.  Ardenpowertools.co.uk says they ship "abroad", but I don't know if that includes the US.

From what I've been hearing from a couple of UK Festool dealers, they're expecting new stock to arrive within the next couple of weeks. FFX say the MFS400 sections I have had on backorder for a month or two are due to arrive at their warehouse on April 10th. But, AFAIK, FFX.co.uk don't ship outside the UK. Axminster certainly have done (the Parf Guide System for example) so they may be worth contacting... but they don't list any of the MFS system on their site but may possibly order in. They'd be worth a shot anyway as their customer service is pretty great in my experience.
 
I took delivery of an MFS400 three weeks ago (in Belgium), after ordering it back in November or something.
Still no sign of my extension rods though.
Sounded like they had some production issues, which are now clearing up.
 
... only slightly off-topic, but can anyone tell me what part number 493 318 is used for? It is shown on the sheet that comes with the MFS units, and is listed as APS 900 for $85.43 in the EKAT system. It appears to be perhaps the same width as the MFS profiles (80mm), and if so, by scaling the photo it might be 100-110mm long, and has a large keyslot in it.

That's good that th MFS 400 and 700 is back in stock, then there's still hope for me taking delivery on MFS VB 1000 extensions!

 
According to the 2018 Festool catalog, all the MFS extrusions are still available in Australia.
 
Also for sale on Amazon.DE, German site.  Just paid $166.00 for the Sys powerhub.  Not all venders ship US however.
