I going to give a coat of clear varnish. The plan is to make the bedroom furniture to match.

Judging by the lathe in the background...i'm guessing you even turned the tops?

Thanks all. I did turn the tops, doing one is easy making the second one the same was the hard bit. I have made it for myself.
