Heading to London ... what should I see?

Looks like I'm taking a 1 week business trip to London, leaving on the 13th. Will be in the Regents Park area.

Not sure how much time I'll have (or if I can even stay awake with the jet lag), but what should I try to see besides one of the 32 Festool dealers in the area?  [cool]

London eye , London aquarium is good to both near Waterloo station. Too many things to mention really as you can imagine London's full of stuff to do.

When you come over bring me a veto propak as hand luggage ;D please

Have a good time while you're over when your not working that is .

Oh there's a big tool show on this weekend at Kempton park race course easy to get to by train and you could visit Hampton court palace while you're out that way if you like history

• (Thames) Riverside walk from Hungerford Bridge to Tower bridge down one side of the river and back other - deviate frequently when you see something interesting...
• Evening walk through St James Park towards Downing St & Houses of Parliament

St Paul's cathedral (you can go up into the dome and its well worth it)

Science museum

Tate Modern

Harrod's department store. Amazing for watches and pens and the food hall is not to be missed. You can get to it by walking across Regent's park.

China town if you like chinese food

Ronnie Scott's if you like jazz

I think you're confusing Selfridges and Harrods. Selfridges is near Regents Park, Harrods is near Hyde Park. Personally I prefer Selfridges.

You can spend an amazing day out in Greenwich. Take the river boat down the Thames, have fish and chips in a pub when you arrive, visit the Royal Observatory and the Maritime Museum, and take the tube back. Great for all ages.

The Tower of London, the Science Museum, the V&A, the National Gallery would all be on my list. Right now the West End shows are better than those available on Broadway if you're into theatre.

So much to do, you can't go wrong.

If you like cowboy boots then you can always go to the Kings Road in Chelsea.

I went there a few years back to see Roy Ayres it was just as I expected it to be.
