I cant seem to get my 1/2" keyless chuck off of the 90 degree chuck for my C12.

Not sure what is going on but that booger is stuck on there.

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

Not familiar with that particular one, but believe that most chucks are secured with a screw inside the chuck.  It typically is reverse threaded as well to prevent it from backing out during normal operation of the drill.  Once the screw is removed, (or there is no screw installed), install the short end of a large hex key wrench in the chuck and tighten the chuck onto it.  A sharp hit from a hammer on the long arm of the hex key wrench will normally break the chuck loose and you should be good to go.  Good luck.

Since you won't be able to see them, here are photos of the the inside of the back end of the keyless chuck, and the shaft of the right-angle chuck.

For those who are unfamiliar with the system, the keyless chuck slips on and off the shaft of the right angle chuck without using any tools. The chuck has three ball bearings on the inside of the shaft's socket, and these engage in the groove around the end of the shaft to keep the chuck firmly in place. To release the chuck, the ball bearings are retracted by pulling the base of the chuck (which is a sliding collar) forward, and then the chuck can be slid off the shaft. Note that when the collar is moved forward, the thee ball bearings float freely in their housing.

The components are engineered to pretty fine tolerances, and when you pull the chuck off the shaft there is a nice "plopping sound"! When the keyless chuck is mounted on the right-angle chuck, there is no discernable movement between the two. However these close tolerances mean that sometimes they fit together a bit too well, as is the case here!

I've had the occasional time when the keyless chuck didn't want to come off, but I can't remember if I was trying to remove it from the right-angle chuck or the C12's main shaft.

In my case, I was able to separate them by a combination of a) tapping the sides of the keyless chuck, b) moving the collar on the keyless chuck back and forward and trying to pull it off the shaft, and c) using the drill to drive the chuck in the opposite direction from the last time I used it.

After messing around like that for 30 seconds or so, it came off OK, and after applying some lubrication to the mating surfaces, I haven't had the problem again.

Sorry I can't help further than the above suggestions.

That was it, I had some gunk and dust and crud in there.  I finally got it apart and gave it a through cleaning, buffed the right angle spindles with some fine steel wool and lubed them up.  You are right on the right angle that keyless chuck fist very snugly.
