Hey all,

I just purchased some second hand festool stuff. One of which was a CT26 vac with the compressed air module.

Having never used a Festool vac with the compressed air module I have a few questions.

I can’t turn it on as I would my other CT26. I imagine this has something to do with the air module being installed? How do I fix this?

The hose also has an air fitting attached. Can this all be removed and be used as a normal CT26?

Sorry for all the questions there’s just limited info out there.

Thanks in advance

The accessory modules are attached with 2 bolts, 5mm hex (same as the one for the ts55 sawblade). You could sell the hose and the module to someone that has a use for it. (you can order an extra socket, or the blank plate (blank plate is a spare part).

Those air fittings are for the LEX series of air powered sanders. Senses the air flow to turn the vac on and off. The air module is a add on. You should be able to replace it with the standard mains one.

Neither one of those components are cheap. I would think even used you could come out in a sale with enough to cover a significant portion of the standard parts you would need. I'd suggest trying to sell them to some one who could use them.

Thanks for the replies. So I removed the compressed air module and replaced it with the Bluetooth module from my CT26. The Bluetooth light turns on but the vacuum doesn’t?

I’m starting to think it’s an issue with the vacuum unless there’s something I’m missing?

Thanks again !
