Hi I’ve just recently bought a festool sand 400dts. I currently can’t afford a festool dust extractor. Does anyone know how I can attach the sander to a Henry hoover. Thanks

If the vac has an outlet for triggering from a connected tool, plug in the sander to the outlet, otherwise you'll need to plug the sander in to a wall outlet or extension cord and turn on the vac manually. For the vacuum hose, it's probably not the exact size as the sander's outlet, so some sort of adaptor will be needed. Rockler woodworking has an adaptor kit that would likely work to make the transition, but I've not tried it out.

you will need a hose. Best option for the money I have found is HERE

If you want to auto trigger the vac you will need something like THIS So far I'm very happy with it. I love that I can adjust the delay for both on and off.  The CT's standard auto off time is annoying to me and seems to always be shutting off about the time when I need to fire it back up again.  I prefer the switch I linked too and might get a second one for the CT so I can adjust the auto on/off.  I use it on a 6hp rigid shop vac that I have plumbed throughout the shop with 2" PVC. So far works great.  I have a CT36AC as well but actually prefer my shop vac system for in the shop use.  The CT is basically for mobile work or if I need to do something inside the house.

My advice would be to avoid the Henry like the plague. It's a tatty, cheap, nasty little machine aimed at contract cleaners in offices and supermarkets, and it also has a stupid face printed onto it.

Its collection capacity is tiny, its motor is gutless, and its filtration is questionable. Take a look at the Nilfisk Aero 26/21 instead - 25-litre capacity, cheap generic bags available on Ebay, a proper power tool takeoff, great filtration, will also suck up water and so on. I used one for years before buying my CT26, I absolutely tortured it, and it just kept going. A lot of machine for not very much money - and it also comes with the adaptor mentioned by guybo above.

If you're in the UK (Bburn = Blackburn Lancs ??) you'll find it here;
