Festool sent me a dvd on the Domino. Before that they sent me a catalogue and a brochure on the domino.
Duh, I already have the machine and am using it, along with all my other green and black.

How about sending me a referral card and throw me a bone if anyone I refer succumbs to their evil temptations.

I know a few people who won't visit a website or can't  get over to my shop. I'll give you their name and you can send them the dvd.

You are wasting your time on me.

I've already watched the videos on the kapex too many times.

Yep, shortly after taking delivery of my new Domino, I too received the promo info and CD.

Oh this is going to work out well,

See, every time I read KAPEX in print,

I put 5 dollars in this here shoe box. :o

Per, please put $5 in for me too :)

I received my Domino last week.  I also receive 3 CDs so far, and 2 mailed flyers.  I did not receive any copy of the 2007 catalogue, which I would like to have.  Have any of you?

Now how exactly is this all going to work?  I do understand the savings part, but are we all to expect some amount in commission.  No, really, if we do our part -- KAPEX KAPEX KAPEX -- then shouldn't we see some part of each additional $5.  Sounds like a nice way to save up for one of those, you know, KAPEX saws.

Hope you have big feet!   :D   If you (we) keep up the good work, I cannot see how you could come up short.  That's it, I'll stop.

All right,

I will just throw a C-note into the box for this thread alone.

As for commission's? You seem to have this reversed.

You can send 10% to my paypal account for each Kapex printing,
(darn I did it again) not to exceed 2 dollars at any one time.

Thank you for your support.

Per I'll give it a Kapex boost for five.

I got the DVD too after I had possession of the Domino. I guess they didn't want to send mailers out until after the release date.

Same here, got the Domino DVD on my second purchase of Festool stuff a week after I got the Domino. Oh yea if anyone needs one I have four DVDs...

Hi. I am new to the site and extremely glad I found it. I to received the flier after I purchased the Domino. My wife saw it and was specific to ask if I received the $40.00 discount.

Maybe Festool should take a que from the software industry like when Adobe did a free pre-release of its Lightroom software to the photography community to help refine the product prior to release. If they took about 30 or so Kapex saws and picked various "interested" people on this site to "test" it for a few months prior to the release it may refine a few issues for the US market.

Wishful thinking huh?

Yes, I too got multiple copies of the flyer and at least one CD. I didn't care for the CD at first because I had already downloaded it, and because it takes over your computer screen, but then I discovered that under in the "media" folder is the original file "DominojoinerHi.mpg" --that I can play directly in Quicktime without it taking over my screen...now all I need is the Kapex CD :)

It appears that Festool's marketing department is getting their mailing list the way most companies get their mailing list, from multiple sources. Unfortunately, the marketing department doesn't have the time or resources to cross reference when you actually buy something from a dealer, nor to cross reference and eliminate multiple entries into their database. For smaller distributions it's easier to go through and clean up the list.

Now, If only we were getting special discount coupons instead of flyers :)

Fred,
Who would rather be making money with tools than marketing
