Hiding places in your home, or car.

Ha...when the bread safe has 1/4" (6.3mm) of green mold covering it, then what?

You could cut the hole and then cactus juice it, I've seen people do that with bread, it'll last forever then!

I mounted a false bottom in a drawer under my dresser—looks completely normal unless you know it's there. Also hid a small safe inside my closet wall behind some hanging clothes; for bigger or more valuable stuff, I use 2 gun safes bolted into the basement floor behind some shelving. Keeps everything out of sight, and only I know where to access it quickly if needed.

My tools are about the only stuff worth nicking and ate kept in a large toolsafe in a rough lookin van.
Nobody expects such good tools in a beat up van.
I'm careful about who sees in the back and avoid working in dodgy places.

Although I have had shotgun years ago it was for pest control and I have never felt the need for a gun for protection.
I'm English and living in England if that helps people to work out why.

Oh and we have a four year old Bull Lurcher dog who is a reasonable size but the day I feel the need for protection from a four year old is the day I hand in my mancard.
