I just wanted to resurrect this old thread and thank Ola C for a great jig.
I made it basically the same but used dovetail slots and Microjig's dovetail clamps which were gathering dust in a drawer as I've never had a need to use them until now. If I'd had some T Track on hand I would have used them instead as I have plenty of T Tracks clamps with the added advantage of swiveling at 360 deg so you don't need as many slots and they have auto adjust mechanisms Tried a few test joints including face frames and miters and they were all perfect. I've decided to use memory sticks in the short term instead of Ola's brilliant rod solution which I think works better with the pins than the paddles. Made about 12 sticks which should cover most of the joints that I do. Thanks again. As they say in my country "Your blood's worth bottling"
I wanted to thank you for throwing this out there!
My son and I made (an ugly) one today in the shop, then cranked out some shaker door styles and rails. Your jig made it so much faster and accurate than marking every rail center and style edge!
