Started using Flakeboard Superior Plus MDF and it's great to work with. Doesn't junk up the blade and their is less resistance to the blade on my ts55. Makes cutting easier thus reducing, next to none, the amount of bowing that can occur on a long track and cutting cheap home depot mdf.

The local lumberyard carries Plum Creek's MDF2.  I've routed false raised panels into the face of 3/4" material and didn't have to spend a lot of time cleaning up the "fuzz".  The material is uniform enough that I have used it as appearance-grade material with a clear topcoat for a reception area.  I will try to find pictures.

Although it is easier to machine and work with than cheap MDF, it still makes a lot of dry, dry dust.
