You know how filing cabinets have some mechanism to prevent you from opening more than 1 drawer at a time, so that it doesn't topple over?
Does someone know if there is hardware or plans for something like this to make for my own cabinet?

Welcome

Might sound silly but why not just screw it to the wall/floor .it won't fall over and you can open all the drawers at once if you want .just a thought

I was planning on having it on wheels.

....And it's going in the garage with a concrete floor.

your local hardware supplier for file cabinets hardware parts should have anti-tip latches you can install into the drawers.

the only challenge i see is that the most popular system installs on the side wall of drawers where most sysports only has a shelf and no side walls.

here's one source of hardware (no affliation): http://compx.com/products-timbmtotip.html

I've used the AccuRide drawer interlocks, and they work well.  They do require drawer sides, so plan accordingly when designing your cabinet.

I wish I had done this.  I have a set of SysPorts I made that hold two Sys on each tray.  (From an old thread, SysPorts under construction)  I have to be VERY mindful of opening more than one tray or things get tippy.  I ended up using a safety strap (found them in Lowe's as an "earthquake strap" made to hold bookcases to the wall) to attach them to the wall for peace of mind.
