I have the 36 E dust extractor.  Including the industrial cleaning set with a 50 mm hose.  I use it on a couple of larger tools.
It works fine for the small bandsaw and portable table saw I have. I want to connect the 50 mm hose to a dewalt hand power planer.
The dewalt port is O.D. 1 5/8 and the I.D is 1".  Can't find a port that will allow me connect the hose to the planer.
In the long run, the hose may be cumbersome to use with the planer.  But I did want to try it.

Any thoughts on where to get an adapter to connect them?

I believe the Dewalt connector is dwv9000 or something close to that. I'm not a fan of the dewalt connector but...I use the centec hoseand the Dewalt connector will screw onto the end.

Thanks for the replies.  After reviewing them, will get the dewalt brand because I also have a sander to connect it to using the 27 mm hose.

Still looking for a reducer for the 50 mm hose.

As far a reducer goes I always make my own out of PVC and heat gun.  I find its easier than searching down all the odd sizes you end up running into with this type of stuff and it works great.  Plus I always have scraps of pvc around so its quicker than running to the store.

Ended up buying the dewalt dwv9000.  It works ok with the dewalt cordless sander and 27mm hose.  Also, it swivels and that helps when moving around.  Does not fit the dewalt cordless planer.  Also, purchased the Festool 452897 Hose Sleeve.  Doesn't fit the planer either.  Does allow me to use another adapter and connect the 50mm to my 10" bandsaw.

I'm still using the rockler kit for a few things including the planer, HF oscillating sander.

Strange about the planer.  I would have thought it would work.  Im not a fan of the Dewalt connector anyways, its way to bulky for my liking. Its fine for the miterbox or bigger tools but on a sander I hate it. Just FYI if you buy the Cen tec hose that has the assortment of adaptors it works well with the dewalt DWV9000  the centec has a small quick release piece that screws onto the end of the hose.  If you unscrew it (reverse threads) the DWV9000 will screw directly on.  The cen tec adaptors work for festool, mafell, makita, basically everything I have ewcept the dewalt stuff.  I bout the kit with 3 adaptors I see now they have a 5 adaptor kit which might have something for the rest.  Its really a good hose for the money.
