The hose keeps flopping downward when I am using my TS 55 (the new one) on the MFT/3 guide rail. When the connector/hose is pointing down, the hose drags on the guide rail and causes problems.

If anyone has had this problem, did you find a fix?

I don't see any way to tighten the swiveling part of the connector. I have the connector locked onto the saw, so that isn't loose. It's the swiveling part in the part that connects to the saw that is too loose.

Yes to all of those ideas, but thanks for the suggestions.

Throwing it over my shoulder is iffy and can be annoying. Elevating the hose requires me to attach a homemade "hose elevator" to the table, which takes several steps and then gets in the way later on. I use it when I am making vertical plunges with the Domino, and for that it is worth the extra steps.

The hose guard on the end of the rail has its own issues and doesn't help with this, since the hose points down near the rear of the saw.

But I tried tightening the connector attachment and managed to snug it up a little bit more. It has made the connector a little less floppy.

I wonder if they will come up with hoseless duct extraction some day. (Yeah, just kidding.)
