There must be some way that I photo that I placed into my gallery can be removed, but I have spent the last 30 minuters trying to figure out how to do it without success.

Help please!

If I go into my own gallery and click on a picture, I get this screen:

Gallery.jpg

Note the "Delete this file" button highlighted by the red arrow. Clicking on it will ask if I am sure, and then it will be deleted.

Obviously I cannot delete images from someone else's gallery, and I suspect that if someone uploads an image to your gallery, then you may not be able to delete it either.

I see that Matthew's name is below your airplane pictures. It looks as though you put your photos in the temporary album in early April, and once he had created an album specially for you, he moved the airplane photos  from the temporary album to your one.

You will probably have to ask Matthew to get rid of these ones.

Thanks Forrest.  You have detected the problem that I was having.  I didn't notice that the picture that I was attemting to delete had been put there by Matthew.  As soon as I get to a picture that I put into my gallery myself, I get the DELETE option.

Good Morning,
Most of the time, photos uploaded to the Gallery are controlled by the member who posts them.  That is true no matter whether they are posted in the Temporary folder first or in the member's individual album.  In other words, whoever uploads the photos controls the photos.

The only reason Frank's photos are listed in my name is because I uploaded them to the Gallery for him.  I forget now why that was necessary.

A word of caution: keep in mind that if you delete photos from the Gallery, that will also cause the photos to disappear from any posts in the forum in which you link to those photos.

Frank used these particular photos in his project, Making Biplane shelves for and with my grandchildren.  If he deletes those photos, his post would have error messages in it.

Thanks.  I recently started an album and somehow bumbled on PC and uploaded some items inadvertently.
