I was busily sanding away with my Festool ETS 125 EQ when I thought I could smell smoke of some kind and about 2 seconds later the sander caught on fire right under my right hand.
Let go of it right away and yanked the plug out of the vacuum socket to get all power off.
It caught on fire right at the AC connector on the sander (burned lower part of my hand where I was holding onto sander) and also burned up the connector on the power cord.
Sander is less than year old and need to know how to send it back to Festool for repair, how long I'm going to be without a sander and how about how much is it going to cost me?
