How do save a topic to your profile?

Hi guys!

First sorry if sound like a broken record but im fairly new to using this forum layout. Question i have is:

Is there a way to save a topic to your personal profile on this forum?

Ive searched and viewed a number of topics and all interesting informative, lots of pictures and some very entertaining. Im normally only read the forum while I'm at work, when I get a chance [smile]. As I read thru them I come across a bit of information that i really like and want to save and put to use when I get back to the shop. When get home to go work I spend more time searching for that idea than actually building or fixing what I should be doing.
 
Just wondering if there is a better way to save and flag the "idea" I need or is copy and paste and creating my own file on my own computer the route to go? [scratch chin]

Only way is to bookmark it in your browser or a free service like bit.ly

You can also click the notify button while the topic is open. That will set the system to send an email when new posts are made in the topic. I know that doesn't really do what you would you want but may still be useful to some degree.

If you click "send this topic" you can email it to yourself and have a link to click to that thread. You can add a description to it to remind yourself if there was a certain page you wanted to look back at or something like that.
