Your expectation might be too high. If you want to have a good Festool dealers you need educate them and buy from them. I had a good WoodCraft store 3 miles away with knowledgeable crew, but they just closed it and drove south to SC. When I asked why they closed this location, they said that people just come, look and buy nothing. My closest relatively well stocked dealer is 30 mile away. But they stock only most popular items, so I have to order over the internet. I don't mind to explain what Granat sandpaper is. One FOG participating dealer didn't know what RO-90 is and when it will be available. (it was 2 month before official launch date). He didn't know that TS75 goes with 75" rail (not 55") and rail can be upgraded. But he knew some other stuff. (Don't ask who he is, I won't tell) Many dealers don't see a value for selling Festool tools. So if you want to have good Festool dealers close to home teach them and buy from them. I spoke with one dealer 15 miles away a couple years ago abut Festool tools he had wrong price tags (10-40% higher) with very limited inventory. I showed one buyer how to use TS-55. MFT and CT-22. Both (dealer and buyer) were amazed. Guess what? This dealer is much better Festool dealer now.
